Conference Calling on Yealink T46U

The Yealink T46U phone supports conference calling, allowing you to hold multiple conversations with multiple participants. Here's how to use conference calling on the T46U:

Initiating a Conference Call:

  1. Make a Call: Dial the first participant's number and establish a connection.
  2. Add a Participant: Press the "Conference" soft key or the corresponding DSS key (if configured).
  3. Dial the Next Participant: Dial the next participant's number and wait for them to join.
  4. Add to Conference: Once the second participant is connected, press the "Conference" soft key again to add them to the conference.

Adding More Participants:

  1. Press the Conference Soft Key: Press the "Conference" soft key to add more participants.
  2. Dial the Next Participant: Dial the next participant's number and wait for them to join.
  3. Add to Conference: Once the participant is connected, they will be added to the conference.

Managing a Conference Call:

  1. Mute or Unmute Participants: Use the "Mute" or "Unmute" soft key to control individual participant audio.
  2. Hold or Resume: Use the "Hold" or "Resume" soft key to place the conference on hold or resume it.
  3. End the Conference: Press the "End Call" soft key to terminate the conference.

Tips and Features:

  • Conference Capacity: The T46U supports a maximum of 6-8 participants in a conference call, depending on the configuration.
