Every 90 days, Tradewinds requires a password reset for their Magaya Account. This article outlines the proper procedure for the Service Desk to complete this task securely.

• Primary Requestor: Sandra Londono (typically)

Password Reset Steps

Follow these instructions to reset the password for the Tradewinds Magaya Account:

1. Access the 365 Admin Center

Navigate to the Microsoft 365 Admin Center using your administrative credentials.

2. Initiate Password Reset

• Locate TW-SVC-MAGAYA@twclimate.com
• Select the Reset Password Option

3. Critical Setting

Do NOT select "Change on next login." Leave this box unchecked to prevent prompts requiring an immediate password change upon the next login attempt.

Secure Password Delivery

Once the password has been successfully reset, you must send the new credentials to the requesting user via encrypted email. This ensures sensitive information remains protected.

How to Send an Encrypted Email

1. Open a new email message
2. Click the Options tab on the top ribbon
3. Select Encrypt and choose Encrypt--Only
4. Compose your message with the new password
5. Send to the requesting user (typically Sandra Londono)
