Using Call Park Keys on Yealink T46U
If you have 6 park keys already labeled on the buttons of your Yealink T46U, here's a simplified guide:
Parking a Call:
- During an Active Call: While on a call, press the park key where you want to park the call.
- The Call Will Be Parked: The call will be parked, and the caller will be placed on hold.
Park Key Labels:
The 6 park keys are usually labeled with specific extensions or park orbit numbers. Make sure to note the corresponding extension or orbit number for each key.
Retrieving a Parked Call:
- Dial the Park Orbit: Dial the extension or number corresponding to the park key where the call is parked.
- Answer the Call: The parked call will ring on your phone; answer it to retrieve the call.
Tips:
- Park Key Indicators: The park keys usually have LED indicators that light up when a call is parked.
- Call Park Timeout: If a parked call is not retrieved within a certain time (call park timeout), it may recall to the original extension or go to a designated voicemail.
