Directory Search on Zoom Phones

Directory function on Yealink Phone

  1. Press the Directory button: On your Yealink T46U phone, locate and press the "Directory" button. This might be a dedicated button or accessible through a soft menu, depending on the configuration.

  2. Browse or Search Contacts: You can usually scroll through the list of contacts using the navigation keys on your phone. Some models allow you to search by entering the name or number of the contact.

 

Using the Directory on Zoom Desktop Application

 

For Zoom Desktop App:

  1. Open the Zoom App: Launch the Zoom app on your computer.
  2. Click on the Phone Tab: In the top navigation menu, click on the "Phone" tab.
  3. Click on the Dial Pad or Contacts Icon: Click on the dial pad or contacts icon to access the directory.
  4. Search for a Contact: In the search bar, type the name or phone number of the contact you're looking for.
  5. Select the Contact: From the search results, select the contact you want to call.
  6. Click on the Call Button: Click on the "Call" button to initiate the call.

For Zoom Mobile App (iOS/Android):

  1. Open the Zoom App: Launch the Zoom app on your mobile device.
  2. Tap on the Phone Tab: In the bottom navigation menu, tap on the "Phone" tab.
  3. Tap on the Dial Pad Icon: Tap on the dial pad icon to access the directory.
  4. Search for a Contact: In the search bar, type the name or phone number of the contact you're looking for.
  5. Select the Contact: From the search results, select the contact you want to call.
  6. Tap on the Call Button: Tap on the "Call" button to initiate the call.
